The Surrendered Will

When Surrender Is Hard

“Not my will, but yours, be done.”

Those words of Jesus in Luke 22:42 can be hard to pray. Especially when we know what we want, how we want things to turn out, or what we’re asking God to change.

Surrender doesn’t mean we stop caring. It means we trust God enough to place what we care about into His hands.

Today, take a few quiet moments to bring God what you’re holding tightly. You don’t have to pretend it’s easy. Simply come as you are, listen, and make room for His will.
